Slaves in seas of soot we drown
Come on down to London town
The cogs they creak and the pistons pound
Come on down to London town

Power cloaked in progress
Smoke in Eden’s eyes
A million choking chimneys burn and
Blacken out the sky

Grab your mates and join us
Where the rats rejoice
The brazen brass of the working class
Are here to find their voice

Revolution holds us bound
Come on down to London town
Break your back for class and crown
Come on down to London town

Steam train running on a reckless rail
Speeding right into the rising gale
Shovel harder cos we’re on your tail
London’s bloody cry

Crippled to deliver
The spoils of industry
Crimson are the rivers
Bleed our grief into the sea

Slaves in seas of soot we drown
Come on down to London town
The cogs they creak and the pistons pound
Come on down to London town

Steam train running on a reckless rail
Speeding right into the rising gale
Shovel harder cos we’re on your tail
London’s bloody cry

Cry revolution, broken dreams
Cruel revolution smoke and steam

  1. How do you constantly put out content this good? it’s evident just how much you care about your music, great work as always

  2. Well I don’t really see what is the difference much from the previous version of this, but well it’s still amazing

    • +RubberKidney – maybe he used a little less compression, increase the dynamic sound a bit, but I don’t have a good enough ear to tell.

+Aerunn Allado I see you’re absorbing the spirit of this upcoming holiday, Giantdad.

    • +Devan Wasburg Kek I actually just forgot to remove the hat last Christmas and now I kinda can’t since Christmas is coming again XD

+miracleofsound You are kind of like the band disturbed(Not in the sense you sing the same, sound the same, or have the same themes etc.) Not a song I don’t like.

    • Aerunn Allado far from disturbedthey sing bout the decade London was in during syndacate

  3. SmugLookingBarrel October 12, 2015 @ 12:54 am

This reminded of firefly for some reason…

  4. Come on. A 500/0 dislike ratio’s gotta say something.

  5. This one song makes me want to play this game more then ANYTHING EA/ubisoft has released

  6. I say make it London Official anthem!

  7. Jacob whydoesmylastnamematter October 12, 2015 @ 3:53 am

I kinda want to play this game because of my infatuation with the Industrial period, but I also don’t want to be disappointed by another AC game. urrrgh

But luckily I’m never disappointed in Gavin’s songs based on the franchise.

  8. FDNY, Hook & Ladder 118 October 12, 2015 @ 4:14 am

You should get paid for this, just because of this I want to go and buy the game now.

  9. “Come on down, to London town.” Line will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

  10. its videos like this that make you wonder. “who the hell is disliking the video??”

  11. I’m buying this game for two reasons “jack the ripper” & “Charles Darwin”

    • +PlagueDoctorLove Dickins your butt!

    • +Bookworm2013 When I first heard this was coming out I thought of Jack The Ripper right away… I knew he would be in this… But it’s gonna be good… My point is this is gonna be interesting…

    • +Bookworm2013 Also Dickens, Graham Bell, Karl Marx and Queen Victoria herself!
The “historical”-part of the cast sounds impressive, but it was the same for Unity (or at least for a history buff like me, it was promissing), but look how that turned out! They hardly used those characters.

    • The game happens in 1860 something and Jack the Ripper killed in 1888 so he’s the wrong time and he probably won’t be in the game

    • +B GreenAvenger It’s already a confirmed DLC mission. The DLC will be based later in time then the base game.

  12. This is great, beautiful song!!!

  13. It’s crazy how EVERY single song of yours is poetic, beautifully written, and dynamic in structure. Not to mention you have an incredible voice. The first time I discovered Miracle of Sound, I thought it was a band. The fact you make all of this music on your own is truly baffling.

Rock on dude, we’re huge fans!!!!!

    -Skull and Pat

  14. Your song is amazing, Thanks you, you inspired me to make a video. You are a great Nordic Viking

  15. Jonas Bjerregaard October 19, 2015 @ 6:39 pm

“Smoke in Eden eyes” makes me wonder – is that a refference back to your first Assassins Creed-song “Brothers of the Creed” with the line “Eyes of Eden upon me”?
Well played, Gavin – good one indeed! With the “crimson rivers” and “my revolution, broken dreams” referrences being the obvious ones (and probably more well-remembered)

Besides that, what an absolutely great song – think I’ve already heard around 40 times already! 😀

  16. AC2 song: “Pools of crimson sin, on swollen throats I leave my mark.”
AC3: “Musket guns and silver slivers, justice runs in crimson rivers.”
AC4 Black Flag: “Hoist the black flag, lads! Justice runs in crimson rivers!”
AC Unity: “La justice est un riviere rouge. Je tu cherche, ou-est tu?” (Justice is a red river. I look for you; where are you?”
AC Syndicate: “Crimson are the rivers, bleed our grief into the sea.”

  17. At 1.5 speed it’s fast rock.

  18. The AngelofFire July 2, 2016 @ 4:51 pm

I understand not a lot of people were entertained by this game and found it disappointing. But I actually loved it. Maybe I’m just a sucker for Victorian London

    • yea me2

    • you are an assassin, the hard part is not being seen or heard, not killing, you have a target that’s a regular old joe, kill him and get out of there

    • warbrain22 jr hero of videogames February 4, 2017 @ 2:21 pm

The AngelofFire I thought it was unity people didnt like, I liked and it and. I thought people loved this game

    • Idiocy Incorporated November 14, 2017 @ 1:53 am

at first i didn’t like it, but that was because i was going into it expecting it to be bad. half way through i told myself to shut up and enjoy it, and i did. it is not one of the best of ACs but it was still good. the main two things i didn’t like was the beginning didn’t feel complete (especially with the rooks) and the combat animations were way to fast to enjoy.

    • Joseph Olberding November 17, 2017 @ 2:50 am

      that’s my problem

  19. Vincent Phantomhive July 22, 2016 @ 3:18 pm

We need a Assassin`s Creed Rogue Song c::::

    • Iron Spartan Productions December 29, 2016 @ 10:40 pm

      Paul Pahos CAPS LOCK!!!!!

    • +ProbeVoyages That is the most adorable thing I’ve ever heard.

    • I also convinced myself global warming was an exaggerated issue, that recycling was bad for the environment(…well, it is to some extent, but it has benefits that often outweigh the negatives), and that times new roman was the best font ever.

    • That’s silly, everyone knows comic sans is the best, most professional, font ever created. 😉

  20. I’m about 1/2 through this now. Aside from the terrible controls compared to the other AC games, I’m quite enjoying it. Keep thinking of this song as I’m running around London.

Ubi really needs to get you on the payroll, if not for the actual soundtracks then for the trailers at least!

    • Some Nerd With a Bad Username October 12, 2016 @ 5:08 pm

They actually do like to try and sponsor him for songs sometimes. The thing is that he really only accepts if he’s doing the song anyway, like with Watch_Dogs.
